Rig Tender T10 Seadrill, Chevron Field, Gulf of Thailand.

I went to this rig by Chopper at Nakhon Airport own by Chevron. Almost 3 hours journey with 2 stop on platform to refuel gas for chopper. Maybe because to sustain the optimum weight, chopper must be limit their gas. 12 people on board with luggage were quit heavy to chopper flew.
Arrived on rig and mobilised all equipment on board. Encounter many problems but luckily have super-duper senior as partner. Manage to troubleshoot all difficulty. In order to run this job, the systems also have to provide at 2 tug boat. The standard name for tug boat is AHV – Anchor Handling Vehicle.
Transfer to tug boat by crane. Manage to complete the system and everything was good after a few hours. But the weather was too harsh and I cannot come back to rig after job done. I have to stay on Tug boat until morning. Stay on tug boat you might be got drunk without alcohol. Never mind, this is the adrenaline that I want.
For time being everything is under control. Worked with 2 marine captains is not that bad. They were from Denmark and Scotland. The relation quit good accept their accent sometime hard to understand. Wish everything going well until job finish.
Now stand by for bad weather. Wish the weather will calm down soon as I can go home early.

Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand

Travel from Songkla to Nakhon Si Thammarat today. It takes about 2 and half hour travel by car. On the way nothing special about scenery, just normal Thai panorama except for the wind farm that they built by sea side. I have seen before in Europe but not in Malaysia. It seem Thailand already invented the green technology compare to Malaysia that still used old energy.

Arrived in Nakhon and stay at The Twin Lotus Hotel. I think this is the best place to stay in Nakhon. Ask about Muslim food here, but seem like no choice. Got 1 restaurant at end of shop lot in front of Hotel. Luckily found 2 Singaporean guy in lift also looking for lunch. I joined them with another Philippines and American guy at hotel restaurant.

Songkla, Thailand

Thai number
1=ing 2=song 3=sam 4=see 5=ha 6=hong 7=jad 8=pad 9=gaod 10=sip

The best hotel  in Songkla = Singora Hotel

Food for Muslim
1. Day = easy to find at market place
2. Night = Wachira road. night market. a lot of food.
3. Also got somewhere at mosque area.

*Don't ever-ever eat at the Shamila beach. The price is fucking expensive. Unless somebody pay for you.

Transportation.
1. Tut-tut
2. Motorbike taxi

*Better use tut-tut than motorbike. Much cheaper and for safety reason. Don't ever2 ask the price when you hiking up. You just pay with big amount and waiting for the balance. By doing this way, it's seem you already know the price and they cannot cheat you.

The normal price for tut-tut = 20 baht @ RM2, where ever place.
for motorbike = normally more than 30 baht, you have to bargain. Normally you will be lose.
Easy and safe way is by Tut-tut.
